JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to the Site Manager
• Manager that can oversee 15 + employees.
• Able to perform day-to-day management practices for any job in the mill.
• Must be willing to effectively and efficiently lead others in day to day task to ensure safety and meet production goals.
• Can effectively communicate to team members, peers, and customers.

SUMMARY: As a Supervisor in Milling and Production, you will oversee and coordinate operations. These processes include attention to but not exclusively to quality, ensuring efficiency, and leading a group of people to meet production standards and goals. A combination of core knowledge in milling as well as leadership responsibilities will be utilized to ensure efficient, safe, and quality practices are put to use on a daily basis. With relevant skills in manufacturing facilities and quality control, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

EXPERIENCE: 1 Year in Milling/Warehouse (Preferred)

JOB TYPE: Full-time

SCHEDULE: Night Shift, Monday – Thursday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

PAY: $40,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely and efficiently operate the extrusion system, the dryer, cooler, and transfer system to ensure product compliance to company and customer standards.
• Daily start up, shut down, and clean-up of the extrusion operation which includes: monitoring product, performing quality audits, polishing tanks and extruder, monitoring tank levels, servicing the mix platform, and keeping the extruder area clean and orderly.
• Strict adherence to and understanding of both the FDA-GMPs and the SQF standards as they relate to the manufacturing areas in order to ensure that the program is being properly executed. Detailed training will be required of this position as there will be several of our facility’s CCP (Critical Control Points) that incorporate directly with the duties of this position.
• Safely and efficiently work your shift as scheduled each week.
• Communicate with co-workers, supervisor, and plant manager daily.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Daily lifting of product and boxes ranging from 1 pound to 50 pounds from table level to floor and above head as often as once every approximately 15 minutes.
• Walking and standing required. Climbing up and down ladders or stairs required. Must be able to continually bend and stoop for length of shift.
• Must be able to work in an environment where the indoor temperature ranges from 80° to 100° F in summer and 50° to 65° F in winter.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• General daily duties to ensure the safety and well-being of the cattle.
• Communicate with co-workers and feedlot manager daily.
• Monitor and assist movement of cattle at the feedlot as needed.
• Safely and efficiently make sure cattle are cared for and have the basic needs to continue to grow in that environment.
• Use your experience to help avoid or to reduce stress for the cattle in the lot to maintain good health for the herd, and to promote wellness and help control unwanted movement of pens.
