Truck Driver – Livestock Feed
Fairview Express is seeking a skilled Driver to join our team at Farragut, Iowa!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers.
- Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate schedules and routes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation.
SKILLS:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Proven experience in route driving and operating heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Ability to load, unload, and secure freight properly.
- Familiarity with tanker operations and safety protocols.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
SUMMARY: As a Truck Driver – Grain, you will be responsible for transporting grain safely and efficiently to various locations. With core skills in driving, commercial driving, and tractor-trailer operation, you will navigate routes, load and unload grain, and ensure timely deliveries. Your premium skills in handling manual transmission, refrigerated trailers, and tankers will be valuable in executing specialized transportation tasks. Fairview Mills is looking for a Quality Assurance Lab Technician to add to our team at Seneca, Kansas!
JOB SUMMARY:
Fairview Mills is looking for a Quality Assurance person at our milling facility to ensure that the products and ingredients that are being shipped exceed expectations. This position also involves ensuring that product received meets our expectations. This person, with the site manager, will help the staff recognize problems or defects at all the stages of milling, shipping, and receiving to uphold consistent quality standards. You will communicate to the site manager and staff about production processes to identify any mistakes or defects and ensure safety.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Check current policies and paperwork and make sure we are in compliance and remain at those high standards.
- Ensure company compliance with FDA, USDA, and customer requirements.
- Perform routine testing to ensure quality and adherence to regulations and standards.
- Verify logs, databases, and other data to track and note quality concerns and improvements.
- Quality Assurance testing on all materials, ingredients, and finished products using established procedures and methods.
JOB TYPE: Full-time
PAY: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour (Wages will be determined upon experience in this specific field.)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reports to the Site Manager
- Manager that can oversee 15 + employees.
- Able to perform day-to-day management practices for any job in the mill.
- Must be willing to effectively and efficiently lead others in day to day task to ensure safety and meet production goals.
- Can effectively communicate to team members , peers, and customers.
SUMMARY: As a Supervisor in Milling and Production, you will oversee and coordinate milling operations to ensure efficient production processes. Utilizing core skills such as milling and ingredient knowledge, and precision measuring instruments, you will lead a team in milling components to meet quality standards. With relevant skills in manufacturing facilities and quality control, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

- Ensure the mill operates according to company procedures.
- Assure safe operation of mill.

- Must adhere to facility SOPs on documentation and follow standard training that will be issued in this area.
- Daily lifting of product ranging from 1 pound to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in an environment where the indoor temperature ranges from 80°F to 100°F in summer and 50°F to 65ºF in winter.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Experience in a mill setting preferred but not required.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Mill Operator – Elwood
Fairview Mills is looking for a Mill Operator to add to our team at Elwood!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Reports to the production manager or the shift supervisor.
- Operates the computer that controls the batching scale, mixer, receiving leg and roller mill.
- Fill bins with needed product, monitor batching and mixing, weigh out hand-adds, confirm empty bins and operate the roller mill.
- Record key data for incoming ingredients and for each batch.
- Work with other employees to ensure formulas are followed and ingredients are not wasted or contaminated.
- Fill out appropriate paperwork.
- Work with outside carriers that unload/load our product.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Work efficiently in a standing or sitting position for 3-4 hours at time, climbing ladders, and work in heat/cold and dusty environments.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- General daily duties to ensure the safety and well-being of the cattle.
- Communicate with co-workers and feedlot manager daily.
- Monitor and assist movement of cattle at the feedlot as needed.
- Safely and efficiently make sure cattle are cared for and have the basic needs to continue to grow in that environment.
- Use your experience to help avoid or to reduce stress for the cattle in the lot to maintain good health for the herd, and to promote wellness and help control unwanted movement of pens.
- General farm maintenance and care of facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
